David Ganderton earned his Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminology, Cum Laude, from the Florida State University and his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Ganderton interned with the State Attorney’s Office of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida, handling both misdemeanor traffic and juvenile cases.
In 2007, Mr. Ganderton was admitted to the Bar in the State of Florida. Upon admission Mr. Ganderton began working as a criminal prosecutor for the 12th Judicial Circuit of Florida. In 2009, Mr. Ganderton relocated to Colorado and began working as a Deputy District Attorney in the 18th Judicial District of Colorado. After a short time, Mr. Ganderton was promoted to a felony position and prosecuted felony crimes until 2011. During his time as a prosecutor Mr. Ganderton handled thousands of criminal cases and gained invaluable trial experience.
With Mr. Ganderton’s extensive criminal trial experience he expanded his litigation skills into the civil arena. Since 2011, while practicing in a large national firm and a local insurance defense firm, Mr. Ganderton has litigated for and against some of the nation’s largest corporations and insurance companies. While practicing with these firms he has handled a broad range of civil matters, including insurance bad faith claims, motor vehicle collisions, business litigation, contract disputes, property cases, and insurance coverage issues.
