Colorado’s New Revenge Porn Law

Colorado recently enacted the “Unauthorized Disclosure of Intimate Images Act,“ otherwise known as the “revenge porn” law.  This law “allows victims to recover economic damages if someone intentionally sends an intimate image of them without their consent.”

This month, a Denver judge awarded $40,000 in damages to a woman after a man she dated sent a sexually-explicit video of her to her estranged husband.
